For a small place they have a large selection of homemade/homecrafted goods. Fantastic food. Wonderful friendly service.

The staff is wonderful, there are many sections to the store, Amish made goods, locally made goods are everywhere here. There is bulk food items as well as freshly prepared bread, pies, cookies, donuts and more. There's a great deli with lots of options and they make sandwiches in house too. Freshly ground PB and coffee are available here, there's a great seating area inside and lots of outdoor seating too. Great place for a quick bite to eat and grocery shop!

They also have many food staples for sale, homemade bread and other items, and some nice gifts as well as outdoor furniture and picnic tables for sale outside. We live a half hour away, and it was worth the ride!

We drive 20 miles to get there, and also to go to the nearby dairy. It is run by Mennonites, so the women wear somewhat retro clothing, though it must be home-sewn, not from Gohn Brothers. They are incredibly polite, a joy to deal with. They keep a good stock, which must turn fairly rapidly, as you won't see a speck of dust anywhere. They experiment on what to carry, so it's worth going over their shelves. Their sandwiches are good. When I go to a commercial restaurant, their staff make things as commodities, as fast as they can, as they have to. These folks put love into their work, I don't know a better way to stay that. How do I describe this. There is a Japanese word, shibumi, which can be sort of translated as seemingly effortless elegance, something like the way a cat walks. The Chinese word is Kung Fu- which is not martial arts, that is Wu Shu. Kung Fu is a special kind of beauty in what one does, and only the better masters exhibit it. The closest English word is grace, like when somebody dances gracefully. It's kind of like when somebody not only has mastered their craft- from the brain- but also has an open heart, and they work together. It's worth going, and we go as often as we can, and take visiting relatives, too. It's a pleasant drive.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at this quaint, peaceful place. The girls were very mannerly and efficient, and the food was all homemade. Choices were from breakfast items served all day to soups, salads, grinders, and salads. We bought a loaf of bread to take home.

Amazing food and my number one place to eat breakfast at. I haven’t tasted one crumb of food that wasn’t absolutely delicious. This place provided easily that best breakfast of my life.I would go back here in a heartbeat. If there was a 6 star rating, I would click on this place before anything else.
